1.What is Teeworlds

Teeworlds is an 2D online multiplayer game. Its a game where you control your own person in the form of a Tee. You can choose your own skin and colours. What do you have to do in the game? Have fun! There is not duty! Just make fun! You can play howmuch you want. There are always enough servers!

2.What means the name

The name Teeworlds.
You can split the name in two parts. Tee-Worlds.
The name says enough. Its the world of Tee's.
What is a Tee? A Tee is a little round creature, with a weapon & a hook. With that weapon & hook you are able to do things. There are mods where you need to use them to kill others, To finish race fastest, Block others into freezes, etc..

3.What is the difference between local & public server

The difference is that on a local server you can only play with the people arroung you. The people that are on your local internet. LAN server means Local Area Network server. If you have a public server there are a lot more players that see your server and that could join.

4.What do you need to create a server

To create a server you need:
-a good computer
Why do you need a good computer? Because if you have a computer that is not good, your server will lagg. And nobody likes a laggy server.. Thats why often people choose for a VPServer or a Dedicated server. Those cost a lot.. For info about prices & help with buying VPS or Dedicated servers for teeworlds you can ask.
-a good internet
Why do you need a good internet? Because if you have a bad internetconnection. It will lagg. And nobosy likes a server that laggs.. Thats why often people choose for a VPServer or a Dedicated server. -a computer that stays ON 24/7.
Why do you need a 24/7 computer? Notting is more anoying than playing on a server & getting kicked because the owner shutted it down.
-Open ports
Why do you need open ports? You need open ports to let others connect to the open server that you host. Opening your ports of your internet is like letting your backdoor open for thieves. It can be dangerous.
-a good mod
Why do you need a good mod? You need a good mod to have a lot people playing on it. It is not funny to play alone.. To host a server you need a mod.
-a map
Why do you need a map? To play with people you cant play in notting, you have to play in a map.


5.How to create a server

How to create a server? To create a server you have to double click on the mod. Thats it. 

You make a map & call it Server1.
In that map you put the mod you want to use, The autoexec you want to use. & you make a new map (in that map)
You call it: Maps . In Maps you put the map you want to use.
In the autoexec you choose all your options like the name of the server. The port you use for it. The password. The other options..

The autoexec depends on the mod. The most easy thing is to download a autoexec of a mod. And edit your options in it.


6.How to check if all works

To know if all works on local server you use a client of teeworlds and you click on LAN. There your server should apear.
To know if all works on a public server you use a client of teeworlds and you click on Internet. There your server should apear in the list with over 1000 others... Thats why you can search down you type the name of your map/server.

7.How to get good & full servers like other servers

The secrets to Tee Succes are:
- a good map
- a good mod
- a good server (NO LAGGS)
- a couple friends, to start a empty server its hard to get it full, if you have some friends on it, the others join automaticly
- a couple nice extra's

The most easy & best way to have a own server on teeworlds is renting it. So you dont pay a VPS or Dedicated server. And you have 24/7 good server.
